2011 FIAC National Championships
Race Organizer Application
FIAC invites race organizers to host one or more of the following eight National Championships:
Criteriums for junior women & men, elite women & men, master 40+ women & men;
Cyclocross for junior men, elite women & men, master 40+ men;
Hill Climbs for junior women & men, elite women & men, master 40+ women & men;
Individual Time Trials for junior women & men, elite women & men, master 40+ women & men;
Road Race for junior men, elite women & men, master 40+ men;
Six-Day Track for elite women & men;
Stage Race for elite women & men, master 40+ men;
Team Time Trials for elite women & men, master 40+ women & men;
Track Omnium for junior women & men, elite women & men, master 40+ women & men.
Only established race organizers with a record of quality events will be considered. FIAC will provide a distinctive jersey for the first place finisher in each elite event and medals to the top three places in all events.
The fee to organizers of each kind of championship shall be $100 except for the Team Time Trials where the fee is $2,000. Applications must be submitted to the executive director along with a check for the required fee, which will be returned if the application is not accepted. Championships shall be run under FIAC Racing Rules and only riders who hold an annual license from a FIAC member association will be eligible for championship placings, though others may be allowed to participate. FIAC will provide medals for the top three places in each class and champions jerseys for the winners.
If you are interested in organizing one of these events, please send email your intention promptly to one of the FIAC associations listed just below with a copy to the FIAC executive director, les@cs.stanford.edu, then fill out the form below and send it not later than January 21, 2011 along with the check made out to “FIAC,” to:
